Coach Sam
Sam Chan, a level three Rugby Union Coach, was a former National Player and National Coach of the Senior National Team. He currently coaches both competitively and non-competitively for several local schools. Between 1996 and 2015, he worked for Singapore Rugby Union and held the position of General Manager from 2012 to 2015 to develop the Rugby scene in Singapore. He was also appointed the General Manager of the Rugby Singapore to oversee and lead the team in organising HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens in 2016 and 2017.
Coach Kok Pin
Kok Pin, a very experienced Rugby Union Coach, was a former National player. He has been actively coaching at primary to tertiary levels for more than 10 years. He is also a former Army regular; he has strong organisation skills and passionate about teaching the right values to the kids
Coach Marcus
Marcus, a very experienced Rugby Union Coach, was a former National player and former National 7s coach ( SEA Game 2017). He has been actively coaching at primary to tertiary levels for more than 20 years. He is very passionate for the sport and good at teaching young kids.
Rugby Programmes
Tag Rugby was developed to introduce a safe non-contact version of rugby for both girls and boys. The programme will introduce participants to various skills of rugby such as throwing & catching, passing, evasive running, tagging and scoring Tries. All these skills will be introduced through fun and modified games! Along with these technical skills, participants will be taught Rugby Values such as Teamwork, Respect, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
CCA
We have qualified and experience coaches to conduct CCA lessons for all Primary to Tertiary levels, The coach will work closely with the teachers to develop a detailed yearly plan that covers the physical, technical and tactical aspects of the sport.
SEP
Our SEP Tag Rugby programme is a safe non-contact version of rugby that can be played by girls and boys. Its's fast, simple and exciting game that promotes the fundamental skills of running, handling, evasion and support play, whilst developing the basic principles of attack and defense. Most importantly, our programme promote good rugby values: Teamwork, Respect, Sportsmanship and Compassion
ENRICHMENT
The Rugby Enrichment programmes is usually designed for beginners (Boys and Girls) Intro to Tag Rugby. To try out and experience the game of Tag rugby. We can customise to the need of the schools and most common programme is 2 to 3 session of 1h/1.5h. The schools usually engage us for: 1. After school programe 2. Post exam programme 3. Modular programme for their PAL, PE, etc 4. Introduction a new sport to specific group (Eg. Sport club)
